Description

**1. Purpose**
FHI 360 seeks a consultant to support a targeted, high-impact engagement strategy with a multilateral funder to:

- Build awareness and position FHI 360’s technical capabilities with relevant funder, sector and operational teams
- Identify and prioritize near-term (near/mid and longer term) business development opportunities in operations and knowledge leadership
- Support strategic in-country engagement aligned with an upcoming business opportunity event later in 2026

**1. Purpose**
FHI 360 seeks a consultant to support a targeted, high-impact engagement strategy with a multilateral funder to:

- Build awareness and position FHI 360’s technical capabilities with relevant funder, sector and operational teams
- Identify and prioritize near-term (near/mid and longer term) business development opportunities in operations and knowledge leadership
- Support strategic in-country engagement aligned with an upcoming business opportunity event later in 2026
- Strengthen FHI 360’s visibility and relationships within the funder’s ecosystem

**2. Period of Performance**

- **Duration:** Up to 5 months
- **Estimated Start:** May 2026
- **End Date:** 30 September 2026

**3. Level of Effort (LOE)**

- **Total LOE:** 20 days

**4. Scope of Work**
**Task 1:** Rapid Positioning & Internal Alignment (Light-Touch)
**Task 2:** Targeted funder Landscape & Pipeline Scan
**Task 3:** Strategic Engagement Plan (Concise)
**Task 4:** Engagement Support (September 2026)
**Task 5:** Post-Event Follow-Up & Advisory

**5. Required Qualifications**

- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with named multi-lateral funders
- Demonstrated experience and/or knowledge of funder operations, sectors, and procurement
- Strong Asia-Pacific network, including stakeholders and/or strong understanding of key stakeholders from selected sectors for engagement
- Experience supporting business development and positioning strategies
- Ability to deliver high-value insights with limited LOE
- Experience advising on stakeholder engagement and convenings

**6. Reporting & Coordination**
The consultant will report to:

- FHI 360 Account Director (Account Management & Engagement Team)

And coordinate with:

- Resource Mobilization / BD teams
- Asia Pacific Regional Office and/or the FHI 360 Country Office
- Relevant technical teams

The consultant may be required to coordinate and work closely with another assigned consultant on this engagement.

All reporting and coordination teams will be finalized prior to initiation of the SOW.

- Clear, actionable funder engagement plan tailored to FHI 360
- Identification of credible, near-term opportunities
- Effective preparation for funder engagement and roundtable
- Strengthened funder relationships and positioning
