Since starting operations in response to the First Gulf War in Iraq, HRF has engaged in many humanitarian contexts around the world, including Somalia, Jordan, Yemen, Bangladesh, Pakistan and Ghana. Within these contexts, HRF has implemented programmes across many sub-sectors of the humanitarian system, including food security and livelihoods, WASH, shelter, education and protection.

Within Iraq, HRF has a recent history of livelihoods, shelter, food security and education interventions working with a variety of UN institutions including UNDP, UNHCR, WFP and OCHA among others.

**About the Position**

We are looking for **two short-term international experts** to support agricultural SMEs in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. You will deliver trainings, provide technical guidance, and help build local capacities using the **SME Loop methodology**.

**Key Responsibilities**

- Align training materials with the SME Loop methodology
- Organize and schedule training sessions
- Adapt and deliver curricula for local agricultural contexts (**Training of Trainers – ToT**)
- Use interactive methods to engage participants
- Track attendance and gather feedback from trainees
- Prepare reports on training outcomes

**What We’re Looking For**

- **Education:** Bachelor’s or Master’s in Business Administration, Economics, or Agricultural Economics
- **Experience:** Minimum 5 years in agriculture or agribusiness support
- Expert 1: 4 years in Market Access & Linkages
- Expert 2: 4 years in Product Processing, Packaging, and Quality Assurance
- **International Exposure:** 5 years outside the Middle East
- **Regional Experience:** 3 years in development cooperation in the region
- Strong communication, facilitation, and reporting skills
- Fluent in English (C2)
