**Senior Evaluation Expert (Long-Term Consultancy – Remote)**

We are currently seeking a highly qualified **Senior Evaluation Expert** for long-term remote engagement.

## Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and technical support to the Team Leader in designing robust evaluation methodologies and frameworks
• Lead and/or support the inception phase, including development of inception reports, evaluation matrices, tools, and stakeholder mapping
• Oversee and contribute to data analysis, triangulation, and high-quality report writing
• Engage in validation and learning workshops with clients, donors, and stakeholders
• Contribute to knowledge products, lessons learned, and dissemination materials

## Required Qualifications & Experience

**Education:**
• PhD or Master’s degree in Social Sciences, Public Health, Development Studies, or related fields

**Experience:**
• Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in the evaluation of programmes/projects.
• Strong experience in humanitarian and development sectors (Health, Protection, FSL, Shelter, Early Recovery, Education)
• Proven expertise in evaluation design, methodologies, and M&E systems
• Previous experience with INGOs, UN agencies, or donor-funded programmes is highly desirable
• Familiarity with the MENA region and complex operational contexts

**Language:**
Native, or an excellent knowledge of English with proven writing skills.
