**Job purpose**

The Operations Officer supports the efficient and compliant implementation of SYCAC’s activities by coordinating logistics, procurement, and administrative tasks in Syria and Türkiye. The role ensures timely operational support to field teams and contributes to smooth project delivery through effective resource and documentation management.

**Key Responsibilities**

- Oversee and manage all logistics, procurement, administration, and operational functions to ensure compliant and efficient implementation of projects in both Syria and Türkiye.
- Ensure all operational processes adhere to SYCAC policies, donor requirements, and safety/security standards across all locations.
- Supervise and support field operations teams in Syria and Türkiye, ensuring effective planning, coordination, and allocation of resources.
- Lead and monitor procurement processes, supplier/vendor management, contracting, and asset control to maintain transparency and accuracy.
- Coordinate closely with program teams in both countries to provide timely operational support and address challenges affecting project delivery.
- Manage operational risks and maintain effective communication with senior management on operational needs, constraints, and proposed solutions.
- Develop, improve, and oversee operational systems, workflows, and documentation to enhance efficiency and accountability across Syria and Türkiye operations.
- Ensure proper reporting, record-keeping, and compliance with audit, administrative, and regulatory requirements in both jurisdictions.
- Support cross-border operational planning, documentation, and compliance for activities linking Türkiye and Syria.
- Oversee logistics and procurement for Türkiye-based activities, ensuring alignment with local regulations and operational standards.
- Facilitate coordination between the Türkiye program team and the Gaziantep operations office to ensure smooth implementation and consistent procedures.

**Required Qualifications**

High school degree as minimum ,

- At least 5 years of relevant experience in operations sector in Turkiy and Syria
- Native proficiency in Arabic and C1 In Turkish and B2 In Enlsih
