We are hiring a **Medical Operations Coordinator** to join a new team in the **Middle East**. This Medical Logistician (med logs) is responsible for managing the pharmaceutical and consumable medical supplies inventory and distribution. This role is responsible for receiving medical kits through importation or local procurement and may also include building kits from on hand inventory. The Medical Logistician will ensure medical kits, pharmaceuticals, consumables and equipment are received, inspected and inventoried as required. Additionally, the Med Logs will prepare medical kits, pharmaceuticals, consumables and equipment for distribution to medical facilities, maintaining accurate records of inventory, transactions, on-hand balances and waybills while maintaining a clean orderly warehouse. The Med Logs will participate in the vetting and procurement of medical supply and pharmaceuticals.

**A day in the life of a Medical Operations Coordinator:**

In the role of **Medical Operations Coordinator**, you will have the opportunity to:

- Maintain your personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be an effective witness for Him.
- Complete the receiving process ensuring that product receives conforms to the order, meets quality assurance requirements for authenticity and expiry, and has not been damaged.
- Monitor medical supply inventory balances within the response and maintain the warehouse with precise inventory accuracy
- Maintain precise inventory tracking of kits received and distributed daily in the excel tracking document.
- Ensure pharmaceuticals and medical supply kits are stored in a temperature-controlled environment, including management of cold chain and protection from rain and other natural elements.
- Utilizing vetted pharmaceutical vendors, the procurement team (including the med logs) will follow procurement procedures for medical supplies and pharmaceuticals
- Communicate frequently with International Health Unit (IHU) Supply Chain representative on the Incident Management Team (IMT) and provides situational awareness.
- All other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- College degree and experience with supply chain, logistics, and medical purchasing and 2- 3 years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. International experience or cross-cultural work preferred.
- Able to perform very detailed tasks for long periods of time (for example, a detailed inventory count of the items in the stockroom and to do so with a high level of accuracy).
- Able to serve within a very fast-paced environment.
- Ability to maintain focus while working individually.
- Willingness to work in unstable, insecure areas
- Ability to lift and unpack large boxes of medical supplies, place inventory onto shelving racks which requires squatting for lower shelves and reaching above the head for the top shelves, stand or walk for long periods of time
- **Twelve credit hours of college-level Biblical studies strongly preferred.**

**Job Location:** Middle East

**Type:** Full-Time; 12 month assignment

**Language Requirement:** Fluency in English (required); Arabic preferred

**Accompaniment:** Unaccompanied

**Travel Expectations:** Regular travel within country. Maintaining required travel documents and vaccinations for entry into foreign countries will be necessary.
