Platform for Peace and Humanity is recruiting a volunteer Head of Investigations, who will lead, coordinate, and oversee the organisation’s investigative efforts in the area of international accountability and human rights protection, ensuring our work is thorough, ethical, and impactful. The selected candidate will develop internal investigative capacities and policies and play a crucial role in uncovering critical information that supports our legal work, research and analyses. The Head of Investigations will report to the Executive Director and the Management Board.

**Location**: Home office (remote)

**Time commitment**: 10 h/week (volunteer/unpaid)

**Duties and Responsibilities:**

- Lead and manage all investigative projects and initiatives, from planning to execution.
- Supervise a team of junior to mid-career investigators and analysts and coordinate with other units of the organisation, fostering innovation, collaboration, and professional growth.
- Oversee the collection, analysis, and reporting by investigators of open-source information from diverse global sources.
- Develop the Platform’s OSINT methodologies, investigative strategies, protocols, tools and best practices to improve efficiency and impact.
- Prepare reports and present findings to the Board and other Platform members and provide strategic guidance to senior leadership using data-driven intelligence insights.
- Develop and maintain relevant technical capabilities and support capacity-building in the Platform on investigative techniques.

**Qualifications:**

- Proven experience in OSINT, intelligence analysis, investigative work, law enforcement, investigative journalism, or research in related fields, with at least 7 years of experience at the national or international level.
- Commitment to the mission of the organisation and dedication to making a real difference in the world.
- Deep understanding of OSINT tools, techniques, and data sources.
- Strong leadership and team coordination skills and proven experience in successfully leading, managing, and mentoring multi-disciplinary teams.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
- Ability to communicate effectively to a diverse professional audience (both verbal and in writing).
